Albany and 2 other Upstate New York cities recently made the US News '20 Best Places to Live in the US for Quality of Life.'

The US News Quality of Life ranking is based on "crime rates, quality and availability of healthcare, quality of education, well being and average commute time."

Albany landed at number 20 in the list! This was due to our low average commute time, low crime rates, great healthcare and great cultural attractions. Rochester landed on number 19 on the list, and Syracuse landed at number 17. McAllaen, Texas landed at number 1.

Albany seems to be landing on alot of these list lately! The rest of the country is figuring out what we already know - the Capital Region is a great place to live and has alot to offer!
