There was quite a bit of controversy over a story I posted on Friday in which a Senator from Connecticut asked Fox not to air a Nascar race which was sponsored by the NRA.During the race on Saturday night towards the end, a man who had gotten into an argument with some campers on the infield of Texas Motor Speedway committed suicide in his truck on the infield towards the end of the Nascar Sprint Cup Series race. WOW! Details on that story here. What were the odds that that would happen, at that race? Sadly it did. In other related news over the weekend Texas governor Rick Perry has asked a gun manufacturer that is leaving Connecticut due to Connecticut's gun laws to relocate their business to Texas. Ironically this story also broke on Saturday, the day of the race. More on that story here.
