Johnny Cash is a country icon so when I heard that there "Ring of Fire" was coming to the area, I had to see it. Now, to salute the men and women who Walk the Line every day, you can get a discount on this can't miss show!
Proctors and theRep (Capital Repertory Theatre) announced in February that "Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash" will be coming to the area. You'll be able to see the show in Albany July 6th-August 12th. During the show, you'll enjoy over 30 of Johnny Cash's classics in about 90 minutes. It's not just a concert from what I've gathered, either.
You get the whole story of Johnny Cash with a multi-talented cast that talks about "family, humor, tragedy, sin and redemption is filled with colorful characters and exhilarating music worthy of a legend!"
Proctors and theRep want to salute the men and women who Walk the Line every day so they're offering 20% off Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash to veterans and active duty service members, especially because Johnny Cash was in the Air Force. Use the code ROFVETS when you buy your tickets. The code is only valid through July 6th for all performances but they will not be offering retroactive discounts.
I had a chance to go to Proctor's Announcement Bash and hear one of the performers in person, how great was he? I'm seeing the show in August and I can't wait.
