A Crack Down For DWI Convictions In Albany County
Drinking alcoholic beverages and then driving is never a good combination.
If you’re in Albany County you may want to make sure that you have an alternative means of transportation if you’ve been drinking.
Albany County District Attorney David Soares is moving ahead with a bigger crack down on drunk drivers. According to Soares, he claims that there’s currently one standard for DWI, and an even tougher standard for Albany County.
In the story from WNYT, he claims that over the past six years, there have been more resources devoted by his office, to the crime. One part of those policies prevents someone that’s been driving drunk to plead down a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
