A peaceful protest turned ugly this afternoon as hundreds of protestors lined themselves up in front of the governor's office expressing their concern over the state's budget.

They feel the governor's budget benefits the wealthy at the expense of the middle class.  So they lined the stairway of his office and blocked the entrance as they chanted for more education money, passing of the Dream Act and the Women's Equality Agenda, and reduction of income inequality.

New York State Police arrested dozens of the protestors when they sat directly in front of the doors.

59 protestors were arrested. The surrounding protestors cheered as they were escorted down the hallway and taken outside to vans.
