Yogurt, Beer And A Shopping Cart Leads To Arrest Of Local Man
A 46-year-old man from Corinth was arrested by Saratoga Springs Police, after he allegedly stole some beer and yogurt, and then rode out of the store on a motorized shopping cart. It happened at the Price Chopper in Saratoga Springs.
Christopher R. Allen is facing a petit larceny charge, which is a misdemeanor. He is also charged with a felony with a fourth degree grand larceny charge for allegedly stealing the motorized cart.
In the story from the Times Union, Allen was arrested on a warrant. The motorized shopping cart was valued at more than $1,500 dollars, and the groceries he was accused of taking were valued at less than $100 dollars.
