Vote for the Capital Region’s Taste of Country Hometown Riser

It's time to vote. One of these five will earn the title of Hometown Riser, a set at Countryfest 2018, and a chance to be featured on Taste of Country.

Along with 34 other stations across the country, WGNA is teaming up with Taste of Country to bring you the best local country acts in the United States. We have narrowed our entries down to five contenders and the final decision about who will represent the Capital Region in Taste of Country's Hometown Risers is now up to you. Hometown Risers Rules.

If that wasn't enough, our local winner, one of the five acts below, will also get to play a set at Countryfest 2018.

Take your time, listen to the music from these five Capital Region artists and make your choice about who you want to see represent our area to Taste of Country and who deserves to play Countryfest 2018 right here at home. Voting is open until January 8 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
