‘Visions Of Strength’ Cancer Benefit

We all know someone who's been affected by cancer, and we all want to help some way, some how. On Thursday, October 17, 2013 you'll have a chance to help the cause and have a good time at the 'Visions of Strength 2013: A Wine Tasting and Silent Auction' at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy, New York.

'Visions of Strength' is an annual event held in conjunction with the Karen L. Mosseau Fund, in memory of the area resident who died of breast cancer in 2005 at the age of 38. Last year's event raised more than $50,000 to directly benefit patients at the Cancer Treatment Center at Samaritan Hospital, which provides an Integrative Wellness Program offering a variety of therapies, including healing touch, massage, myotherapy, and nutritional and psychosocial counseling.

Tickets are $85 and guests will enjoy light fare and samplings of up to 50 different wines and liquors to benefit patient access to cancer wellness services at the cancer treatment center.
