“Tully:” A Lights Camera Jackson Review [VIDEO]
There's no doubt "Avengers: Infinity War" is still going to be at the top of everyone's mind this weekend (I'm seeing it tonight, myself) but there are two new movies opening this weekend in case you've already seen Avengers 12 times.
"Avengers: Infinity War" has broken all of the records. By this point, you've probably already seen it multiple times or have decided that you don't want to. No worries, two new movies are opening and neither one of them are Marvel movies.
Everyone is talking about "Tully" starring Charlize Theron and is written by Diablo Cody and directed by Jason Reitman who were both the creative minds behind "Juno." Theron plays Marlo, a mother of three (including a newborn) who is gifted a night nanny by her brother. The nanny (Tully, played by Mackenzie Davis) may begin challenging for Marlo but soon they start to form a bond.
Also coming out this weekend may be a familiar title, "Overboard" is a remake of 1987 classic directed by Gary Marshall. The 2018 version stars Anna Faris as Kate and Eugenio Derbez as Leonardo. If you've never seen the original, Kate is a single mother of three who's hired to clean Leonardo's yacht. Leonardo is a selfish, spoiled, and wealthy Mexican playboy who ends up unjustly firing Kate. Leonardo falls off the boat and wakes up with no memory. Kate shows up at the hospital and convinces Leonardo that they're married. She just waits and wonders how long this ploy will last.
