Trump Economic Aid Plan Would Cut Direct Checks To Americans

A potential relief plan to help Americans financially over the coming weeks is in the works.

While the coronavirus is everyone's main concern, the health of our economy is becoming a long term concern as is lost wages for many American workers. This will  affect their ability to weather the storm and if you are one of those workers, this is a little bit of good news.

President Trump is asking Congress to set up what could end up being $1 Trillion in economic aid  that would simply cut checks right to Americans, according to a WNYT report. 

The WNYT story says T"he White House proposal aims to provide a massive tax cut for wage-earners, $50 billion for the airline industry and $250 billion for small businesses." So it looks like the plan would really try to get funds to those working in fields that are suffering the most.

In the past the government has bailed out big business and banks when many thourhg it should go right to the people. I am sure this new approach will be welcome relief for those who need it most during this difficult time.
