1998- Faith Hill is at No. 1 with 'This Kiss.'  The song also makes the Top 10 on the pop charts.

1987- The "Trio" of Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris hit No. 1 with 'To Know Him Is To Love Him.'  The song is a remake of a pop classic written by Phil Spector and earns the superstar trio a Grammy Award.

1969- Merle Haggard records his classic 'Workin' Man Blues' at the Capitol Records Building in Hollywood.  The song is destined for No. 1 and is a tribute to his core group of followers, the American blue collar working man.


Rick Trevino, 1971.  Rick hits the charts in the '90s with 'Runnin' Out Of Reasons To Run,' 'I Only Get This Way With You' and 'Learning As You Go.'
