Tri-City Valleycats Holding Auditions for National Anthem
Can you sing? The Tri-City ValleyCats may be able to use you for the upcoming season.
The Tri-City ValleyCats are holding their 9th Annual National Anthem Audition at Crossgates Mall on Saturday, April 6th at Crossgates Mall, according to News 10, from 10:00am-12:00pm.
The auditions will be on the lower level of the mall, near the apple store. Registration begins at 9:30am and auditions will be in the order of first-come, first-perform. You don't necessarily have to be an individual singer to audition. They are also accepting groups and auditions with instruments, as long as they don't require power.
You will be judged on quality, stage presence, and song accuracy. After you qualify as a finalist, there will then be an online vote and the person with the most votes will get to sing the anthem at a ValleyCat game this summer at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in front of an average crowd of 5000 people.
American Idol may not come to the Capital Region for auditions, but this is a great local way to get your beautiful singing voice heard!
