You might see Toby Keith in May at the Kentucky Derby and no, that does not mean he will be performing.  Toby is prepping for the Kentucky Derby with a horse named Reckless Jerry that he owns under the name of Dream Walkin’ Farms.  Clever, right?  Toby actually owns a 330-acre farm in Oklahoma with more than 100 mares.  He’s apparently heavily involved in sales and as a "pin-hooker", or someone who buys horses and turns around to sell them for a profit.  He reportedly has plans to breed most of his mares to Cactus Ridge and Ice Box.

Miranda Lambert revealed to Albright & O’Malley as well as shared with the crowd at a tour stop in Lexington, Kentucky that Lady Gaga wanted to know if country music artists really do get along.  Miranda says Lady Gaga asked the question when they were sitting next to one another at the Grammys, watching Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson performing ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay.’

“In country music do y’all all have real rivalries like we do in pop?” Miranda describes Lady GaGa’s question.  Miranda says she responded saying,

“Honey, we act like one big happy family, but I like to win just as much as the next blonde girl does.”

Miranda shared that she was surprised Grammy organizers sat them next to Lady Gaga.
