Three Local State High School Basketball Champions Crowned In Glens Falls This Weekend

It was the biggest year ever four our very own local Section 2 in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Basketball Tournament. The event has been held in Glens Falls, New York at the Civic Center for over 30 years now and is the one place any kid that loves and plays high school basketball wants to play. Why? When you play in Glens Falls, you have made it to the final 4 and are one of the best teams in the state. Three local schools right here at home not only made the trip to Glens Falls, but won New York State championships. 1077 'GNA salutes and congratulates the Argyle Scots who were crowned Class D champions, the Lake George Warriors who were crowned Class C Champions and the Watervliet Cannoneers who won the Class B crown. That is unbelievable. You have all made the are proud and will never forget the feeling of being the best in the state. We may never see another weekend like this again in high school basketball so cherish it.
