Thompson Square is Big In Albany

Are you gonna kiss me or not? I'm sure that question was asked a few times on Monday. It is being asked on the airwaves of WGNA all the time.

Stoney Creek Records duo Thompson Square has a huge with the song "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not". It is climbing up the charts and their debut self titled CD " Thompson Square which just came out in store and online was the #1 selling CD in Albany this week.

I have been listening to country music for many years and trying to find the acts that are going to be big, before they hit the big time. WGNA has been doing the Rising Stars Concert Series for our 4th year now trying to identify these acts.

This year we opened the series with Joanna Smith, who is a star on the rise for sure.

On March 10th our second choice as WGNA Rising Stars, Thompson Square  will be in town for an acoustic night of music at the GE Theater at Proctors in Schenectady.
