The Pride Of Saugerties’ Sloppy Chug Fires Up Rangers Fans
The New York Rangers faithful needed little to get them going on Thursday at Madison Square Garden for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the defending two-time Stanley Cup Champion, Tampa Bay Lightning. Throughout the Blueshirts magical postseason run, celebrities and pro athletes have lit up the Garden's Jumbotron, much to the crowd's delight.
Thursday night was cool, as a celebrity that grew up in the Capital Region, was the highlight of the Jumbotron. Saugerties native and College of St. Rose graduate Jimmy Fallon gave it all, to the point of getting soaked, to get the crowd roaring.

The appearance was posted on Bleacher Reports Open Ice Twitter account @BR_OpenIce. Being featured on the MSG big screen was of little surprise to the host of NBC's Tonight Show. The hysterically funny comedian was ready with his physical slapstick props, a hot dog and a beer.
Fallon begins the performance by dunking his hot dog in his beer.
Then he plows the hot dog.
Really plows it
Nope, not done. Then the talk show host, with some of the hot dog still in his mouth, stands up to wash it down with his beer.
At the begging, the comedian displayed good chugging form and completion looked promising, sending the MSG crowd into a full roar.
With time running out, Jimmy Fallon went full tilt, throwing the beer into his face with half of it soaking himself and those around him. All in all, the Madison Square Garden crowd loved another performance by the funny kid from Saugerties, New York.
