The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze in NY [PHOTO]
I see pictures of this amazing event every year, wanting to go, if you haven't heard about it before, take a look for yourself and plan a trip, it's in driving distance!
The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze is in Croton-on-Hudson and tickets are limited but still available. From the pictures, you can see they light up the entire town with just jack-o-lanterns - it looks like the Disney World for Halloween!
According to Time Out New York, they have more than 7000 glowing, carved pumpkins. You start at the Pumpkin Promenade and stoll across the Pumpkin Zee Bridge to the Statue of Liberty made of just pumpkins! They have a 20-foot diameter pumpkin carousel, a color-changing planetarium of pumpkins, a Headless Horseman made of pumpkins and more!
Adult tickets are only $20 weekdays/$25 on Fridays and Saturdays, children 3-17 are $16 weekdays/ $20 Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets leading up to Halloween are pretty scarce but this is such a cool spectacle, does it really ruin it just because it's not Halloween anymore? I don't think so.
