Early this this (Saturday) morning, a great bunch of people got together in the pavilion of Schenectady’s Central Park for something very special. It was the 2015 ‘Walk-N-Roll’ for the Spina Bifida Association Of Northeastern New York, presented by The Daily Gazette. It was my pleasure (and an honor) to be the dj/co-emcee for this great event.

This was the fifth ‘Walk-N-Roll’. On the first one, it was held at Schenectady County Community College. There were about 75 people participating. Every year, this event gets bigger and gets more people involved. At today’s event, which was held in Schenectady's Central Park, there were 250 people. One more little note, I was told that their goal was to raise $30,000 dollars.

I’m looking forward to being part of next year’s ‘Walk-N-Roll’. There’s definitely a big “thank you” to everyone that was with us.  We also had the pleasure of Congressman Paul Tonko (D) stop by. Hopefully next year, we can even get some more of the WGNA listeners to be part of the event.

I took a few pictures of some of the people that were there.
