61-year old Cory Zeidman, a former Long Island, New York resident, has been arrested on fraud charges in relation to a $25 million sports betting scheme.

The World Series of Poker Circuit made its stop in Verona, New York last week, and out of more than 3,000 entrants, two local players won their Gold Rings.

For the first time ever the World Series of Poker is having qualifying tournaments right here in New York.
