Shout out to some local cops who not only protect and serve, but apparently do some serious shoveling too. Photos of three local police officers digging out a distressed 99-year-old woman barricaded inside her house by over over a foot of snow in Albany, has gone viral.

Mother Nature delivered and we got over a foot of snow. I have a seven-year-old who loves the snow both to shovel and to go sledding in. So that's exactly what we did.

Winter in the Capital Region usually requires some shoveling. After this round of snow, chances are you had to shovel or are getting ready to. Here's a friendly reminder about safety tips when you go out and shovel.

Hopefully this new change in Albany isn't one you have to worry about for a little while, but here are the details.
