I thought I would pass along some of the incredible events going on at Saratoga this week.

It's said that the track is "the August place to be." I agree! Here are my top-5 reasons you should go to opening day on Friday! 5: Tradition: according to Wikipedia, the track opened in 1863 and is the third oldest racetrack in the US.  It's often considered to be the oldest sporting venue of any kind in the country...

A 24-year-old Saratoga Springs man ended up with some minor injuries and some legal problems after he allegedly crashed a 2004 Chevy Impala into a gate at the Saratoga Race Course early Friday morning.

On Wednesday afternoon, what started as a normal day at Saratoga Race Course turned out to be very frightening.

How many times have you gone to Saratoga and ended up walking...and walking... and walking to get to the entrance because of a bad parking spot? That's if you FIND one!  Well, this guy has the answer, and more power to him!

Well, in my typical fashion, I usually get interested in sporting events after they happen. I knew nothing about "Will Take Charge", but after seeing highlights of the race, I wanted to find out everything!  What a finish!  (video to follow)

As summer slips away, it's hard to believe that the last week of racing at Saratoga Race Course is upon us.  After a very exciting Travers race, NYRA has announced that Friday, August 31, 2012 will be a special day to give back to the community and remember the devastation of Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.

The Travers Stakes is the highlight of the Saratoga Racing season!  While many people will place their bets based on stats and picks from the professionals, some of us just go by the craziest or most creative names of the actual horse.

I host several GNA Country Dance parties all year and I always hear people say that they can't dance because they have two left feet.  Well, that's no longer an excuse thanks to Crackers the line dancing horse.

Lots of talks surrounding bringing a "horse park" to the Capital Region, but not much has successfully formed from those talks.  However, all weekend, there will be a horse and tack expo at the Saratoga Race Course to help raise money to build the horse park
