It's a little known fact that one of my first jobs growing up in the Capital Region was working at the Saratoga Race Course in the summer. I have many fond memories of my time at the track and now you can work there too.

It's the next big step as we get ready for opening day in Saratoga in July; single day reserved tickets go on sale this Wednesday May 3.

It's another sign July 21, opening day, is fast approaching at the Race Course.

Labor Day doesn't just stand out as the last day of track season in Saratoga, it also means another very successful year for business owners in the spa city.

Yesterday I attended my first Traversn and when Arrogate won the race, I was holding a winning ticket. At least I thought I was.

It's been hot and humid here in the Capital Region. It's definitely summer, but it doesn't quite feel like summer until the horn is playing, the bets are in and the horses are on the track.
