And They’re Off! Saratoga Race Courses 2016 Season Kicks Off Friday!

It's been hot and humid here in the Capital Region. It's definitely summer, but it doesn't quite feel like summer until the horn is playing, the bets are in and the horses are on the track.

The 2016 season at the Saratoga Race Course is gearing up to kick off this coming Friday. So, if you've been getting sick of doing the same ol' thing on these lazy, hazy summer days get ready for some excitement.

Last year set a betting record of $158 million dollars! Turns out the 40-day meet is the areas largest local sporting event and it shows with the anticipation that occurs each year leading up to the gates opening.
