Ever been there?  It's a great little park.  Little?  Did I say little?  It's actually huuuuuuge!  I happened to have some time to kill the other day, and I certainly found the best place to kill it:  The Crossings.  So with i-Phone in hand, I took some quick shots:

Spring is here in the Capital Region.  Can you think of a nicer place to be than upstate NY during this time of year?  There's always a ton of things to do around these parts.  But I'm going to add one more to your already overloaded plate-the local Locks comprising of the historic Erie Canal System

Who would ever think that you could get hooked on a show about fishing?  (no pun intended).  If you haven't  DISCOVERED it yet, you should.

You know the common complaint about watching golf on TV.  It's worse than watching paint dry.  Even the Masters, as exciting as it was,  I grew a full beard waiting for it to end.  Well, take heart, impatient TV watchers.  Welcome to Power Play golf...

That Casey Danton!  Did you see her scathing criticism about those sneakers that supposedly tone up your glutes?  Well, I am the proud owner of a pair, and now she's going to get a piece of my mind musically--actually this is my very first video blog (and maybe my last!!)

Remember when we were kids?  As soon as there was a fresh snowfall, we'd go rummaging through all the closets looking for old hats, scarves, carrots--and then shlepping everything out into the snow to make the next great "sculpture".

What did we do, in a not so distant past, without the technology that we have today?

Last night we went bowling with a team called the Rogue Bowling League.  These fine folks love to bowl, but none of us could join a traditional league because we just can't do it every week!  So we "seceded from the union " sort of speak and formed our own league.
