Why did this happen?

To bring you up to speed on some stories happening around the Capital Region, here is a recap of what was discussed in the news this morning.

The price of gas has dropped 12-cents over the past two weeks.  The most recent Lundberg Survey, published Sunday, shows the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular is now $3.54.

Hydrofracking is an extremely hot topic right now.  Everyone's mentioning it.  That has to be the first word out of peoples' mouths at cocktail parties all over New York State!  The heck with Charlie Sheen.  He's page 16 news now!

Just when I heard hope of gas prices going down, word on the street is that the havoc that's broken loose in Egypt,  could cause the price of gas to go even higher.

Not sure if it was from all my holiday shopping or just holiday travel in general, but after looking at my bank statement,
