October has passed and so have our 4th Annual Capital District High School Hunger Games presented by SEFCU, but the need for food continues as we head into the Holiday Season.

If you've been following the process, we put 10 local high schools against each other to gather as many non-perishable food items as they could for the Food Pantries of the Capital District.

As we head into the final days of our Capital District Hunger Games presented by SEFCU, the spirit among our 10 high schools is really high!

We are underway with the Capital Region High School Hunger Games. Last week I was fortunate enough to stop by Shenendehowa High School before Senior Night of their football game.

If I asked if you'd rather spend $10 on yourself or a complete stranger what you say? You'd have to think about it right? I know I would!  Regardless of your answer, the truth is, more people say it felt better to spend money on someone else rather than yourself.  Giving money to charity promotes happiness.  If money is an issue, you could just as easily donate time by volunteering; there's no gre

10 local high schools are competing to win a free show from LANco, and more importantly all 10 are teaming up for a great cause.

This October several Capital Region High schools will see who can raise the most food for the Food Pantries if the Capital District. While one school may win, in the end everybody wins.

On my tour through all of the 11 schools participating in our High School Hunger Games, my latest stop was 2 time chapions, Norte Dame Bishop Gibbons!  The 'GNA crew and I got to play some music for their Haunted House and it was spooky and scary and fun and awesome...

I like to check in with the schools who are participating in our 3rd Annual High School Hunger Games, just to make sure that their collection is going well and that they have everything they need. So, when I got an email from South Colonie High School last week with a couple of pictures attached I was excited to see how they were doing...
