There are a few inconveniences this weekend through the area of Cohoes and 787. There are some detours and prohibited routes for the entire weekend. Here's what you need to know.

I live on the Cohoes side of the Cohoes Waterford Bridge and I understand that it needs to be replaced. I don't understand, however, why they have to shut down the entire area for every weekend in July.

If you plan on driving on I-890 in the next few days maybe you should consider other routes or be prepared to possibly sit in traffic.

The last thing anyone ever wants is something messing up their commute. Especially after a long day at the office or an early morning trip the gym before work. But it could be happening tonight.

If you have to venture through downtown Albany at any point, especially in the area of Madison Avenue and New Scotland, you're probably having the same feelings I have been: "When is this sinkhole gonna be fixed!?!"

It's been a problem for Albany residents most of the week and it looks like things won't change too much for the weekend either.

So I turn onto Fuller Road from Central Avenue in Colonie, and I see a sign that shows that "Fuller Road is closing from may 4 through May 14". I’m thinking, “you’ve got to be kidding?”
