Surprise Proposal in Albany at NYS Trooper Graduation

Graduating from the New York State Police Academy is amazing enough but one recent graduate decided to take it a step further and make it even better!

Dan Leach graduated from the New York State Police Academy this past weekend, according to News10. Getting through the academy alone and eventually making it through graduation is something to be proud of enough but Leach decided that he wanted to take the day a step further.

Leach and his girlfriend Lauren Livolsi have known each other for six years and have been dating for two. Livolsi's father is also a graduate of the New York State Police Academy and Livolsi watched her father graduate from the same place 20 years ago which made this the perfect time to make another memory.

After the graduation was over, Leach got down on one knee and asked Livolsi to marry him. He also surprised her with the ring that was a family heirloom that has been passed down for generations in his family.
