Steve Holy And Eden’s Edge Perform At The Sean And Richie Golf Tournament

Another Sean and Richie Golf Tournament goes into the record books.   I'm sure we'll have plenty of photos from out on the golf course.  But I don't think we give enough "props" to what happens afterwards - the performances that happen INSIDE Stadium Golf Course in Schenectady.

We've had memorable performances over the years.  Everyone from Mark Wills to Steve Azar to Steve Holy (did I say Steve Holy?).   Steve was here about 4 years ago, and made a return appearance to the Capital Region.  But his plane was delayed out of Chicago due to storms, and the entire band was up nite the nite before.  So he was in slightly rough shape vocally. 

I say SLIGHTLY rough shape.  In his mind he thought he sounded TERRIBLE.  But we were all fine with it.  He's great with the crowd, so it didn't seem to matter.  But I did feel bad for the guy, because you could tell that he wanted to sound good and just couldn't get the notes out.

Needless to say, we give him alot of credit for completing his set despite his temporary handicap!

                                                                       Now onto Eden's Edge:

This is one powerhouse trio.  You know them for the song "Amen".  And that's what I was saying to myself when I heard Hanna Blaylock sing.  A voice right out of heaven.  Of course Cherill Green and Dean Berner provided incredible harmonies and musicianship as well.  To hear these people "up close and personal" is an amazing experience.

Please do us all a favor.  Even if you don't golf, try to come for the lunch and the concert at our 2012 golf tournament.  You'll see great country stars and future ones in the really intimate atmosphere that only Stadium can provide!  Special hanks to Michele and Greg Hennel  and everyone at Stadium Golf Course for the great food and beautiful banquet room.
