State Police Confirm 20 Dead In Horrific Schoharie Crash
Just awful. My heart breaks for the families, the community, and anybody involved in the horrific crash that happened yesterday in front of the Apple Barrel Country Store + Cafe in the town of Schoharie. State Police are confirming that 20 are dead but have yet to release the names of those people yet.
The horrible crash that happened yesterday afternoon shortly after 2 pm on the intersections of route 30 and route 30-A in the town of Schoharie took the lives of 20 people according to News 10 ABC. Many of the casualties may have been bystanders outside of the popular Schoharie store and cafe.
According to the report, the names and details of the victims haven't been released yet as authorities are still contacting next of kin. The News 10 ABC story also noted that State Police have set up a phone for the family members of the victims. Family members can call 1-877-672-4911.
While details of the crash are still unsettled, it has been reported that it involved a limo bus and multiple bystanders. A press conference is scheduled for 3pm today.
