Shots Fired Near Schenectady School – Schools In Lockout
Several schools in Schenectady went into a lockout around 12:30 p.m. after there were reports of shots fired near Mont Pleasant Middle School.
There are also reports of some people that were injured from the shootings, but no mention if they were students or not. It’s also been reported that there was a car chase that involved the shots being fired.
According to the story from News 10 ABC, besides Mont Pleasant Middle School being in lockout mode, there are several other schools in lockout including Pleasant Valley Elementary School, Hamilton Elementary School and a few others. The schools remain in lockout until they’re notified by the Schenectady Police Department.
