1999- Shania Twain's "Come On Over" album is certified for shipments of 11 million copies, temporarily tying it with her own album "The Woman In Me" as the best-selling album by a country female artist.

1992-Martina McBride begins her first major concert tour, opening for Garth Brooks in Denver, Colorado. Prior to opening concerts for Garth, Martina helped sell merchandise while her husband John worked on the sound and light crew.

1986-Warner Bros. releases Randy Travis' major label debut "Storms Of Life." The project features the hits 'On The Other Hand' 'Diggin' Up Bones' and '1982.'

1985-Roger Miller and the Broadway production of "Big River" win seven Tony awards including Best Musical and Best Score.  Roger is named 'Taste Of Country's' No. 1 Country artist to conquer Broadway.

1958-The Everly Brothers go to No. 1 on the Billboard country chart with 'All I Have To Do Is Dream.'
