Schenectady Restaurant Rated Upstate NY’s Most Romantic

A local favorite has landed on New York Upstate's best reviewed restaurants of 2018.

For us here in the Capital Region, we know we have some of the best restaurants Upstate New York has to offer. But it is always nice to see a  little more widespread recognition.

New York Upstate recently compiled Yelp reviews to find some of the best restaurants upstate, and Tara Kitchen in Schenectady, a Moroccan restaurant on Liberty Street, was rated the #1 most romantic! (Tara Kitchen also operates a location on  River Street in Troy.)

Now when I think romantic, I think cozy (Which you will see Tara is based on the photos on their website) with great food (Based on the 4 out of 5 stars and great reviews on Yelp, this is certainly the case).

Akanomi in Altamont also lanedd on the list as the #1 Sushi restaurant in Upstate New York. You can see New York Upstate's full list of #1's from Yelp here.
