Schenectady Museum Hosting Butterflies and Brews

Want to see a butterfly up close? Want to see it with a beer in your hand? If you're 21+, you may want to sign up for this event coming up in Schenectady.

Tickets are on-sale now for Schenectady miSci's yearly event "Butterflies and Brews." Those 21 and older can enjoy the indoor butterfly house exhibit while enjoying a cash bar on March 8th.

The indoor butterfly house is a great family-friendly exhibit that's open for a limited time during normal museum hours. It's also included in your ticket price. For those 21 and older, you can enjoy the children's museum without children at all. Relive the memories of going to this museum on school trips as a kid, or, if you're not from Schenectady, make new memories!

In years past, they've hosted some of your favorite local breweries for tastings. Their website doesn't allude to that this year so they may be changing things for 2019. Tickets are only $12 and there is a cash bar, as well as a food truck outside for when you get hungry.
