Being recognized for her accomplishments in the water are nothing new for the Saratoga Springs teen. In May, the Times Union recognized Rachel as their Athlete of the Year. Love has been swimming for Saratoga's varsity team since she a 7th grader. According to her Coach Josh Muldner, "Rachel continually demonstrated the power of possibility and dedication."

"I can remember thinking in 7th grade that I might never get her to break 30 seconds in the 50 because she was just such a distance based swimmer. And now as a senior she’s anchoring our 200 free relay team and challenging Woody to races in the sprints – notching her name on the top 10 list for the 100 free. I also remember thinking that we would never get her to have a fast turn. And then she showed up at the first week of practice as an 11th grader and she had the best turns I’d ever seen on a girl in person" said Coach Muldner about Rachel Love. Congratulations to Rachel Love on being the 104.5 The Team Student-Athlete of the Week.
