Rudolph Movie & Pyrotechnics Show Is Coming To Ballston Spa

Enjoying Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a holiday tradition, and this year it will take a different spin at Ellm's Family Farm.

Maybe like we do in our house, you make it a yearly tradition to watch the old Rudolph special as a family. There is something about those old claymation characters that is so charming and nostalgic. Now you can see it with a new twist.

November 27th through December 22nd Ellm's Family Farm in Ballston Spa will be showing an 11-minute version of the movie followed by a laser and pyrotechnics show. The movie will be shown on an outdoor screen with sweet treats like donuts and hot cocoa available for purchase. You can watch from the comfort of your vehicle, or watch outside your vehicle while wearing a mask.

One thing the pandemic has done has led to creative new ways to get out for some family fun. The drive-in concerts that took place this past summer and the live concert movies are just a few examples. Taking Rudolph to another level is a pretty cool idea, and a great way to get into the holiday spirit. And the great thing is, you can still keep your yearly tradition of watching Rudolph at home. Heck, by the time you get to Ellm's if you go, you probably would have watched it a few times already!
