Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood have been rated by Forbes and their list of “Top Earning Women in Music.”  The magazine ranked the stars and their income between May 2010 and May 2011.  Taylor came in 2nd place, behind Lady Gaga, earning an estimated $45 million – half of what Gaga earned.  Pop singer, Katy Perry was ranked third.  Carrie Underwood was on the list, but came in at number seven.  In her defense, she’s been very busy being married and stuff.  She did not tour or release a new album this year so that could have taken a toll on her income of $20 million this time around.
