As we get ready for Rodney's return to the Capital Region, we caught up to talk about how his wife has inspired his new music, what he envisions when singing his biggest hits and more!

Rodney Atkins may be a little old school when it comes to his country music and his values, but we wanted to know if his emoji game was on point.  We put him to the test with a series of emoji's that translated into popular Christmas songs to see just how well the country star would do on the emoji hot seat.

We had the pleasure of spending a good amount of time with Rodney Atkins, a true-blue country music star on Wednesday night just moment before he took the stage at our Jingle Jam show in Troy.  While discussing playing and performing for our troops in Afghanistan, Atkins talked about a terrifying moment that he'll never forget. And after hearing him tell it, you won't either.
