Reptiles Hop Crawl & Slither Into Saratoga in September For Expo
For the third year, Saratoga will host a Reptile Expo. The expo will have hundreds of snakes, frogs, tarantulas, turtles, salamanders, tortoises, and more. Each year the Saratoga Reptile Expo has drawn thousands of people interested in learning about these exotic pets and purchasing them. There will also be reptile-related supplies available. It will be held at the Saratoga City Center on September 11th.
According to Saratogian.com, this event will be larger this year opening up a five thousand square foot annex rood so there will be more room for vendors and area slated for social distancing. This will make the Saratoga Reptile Expo a total of twenty-eight thousand five hundred square feet.
There will be all different kinds of reptiles on display. There will be more than one hundred thirty vendors and sixty breeders on hand. They will be selling captive bred and long-term captive reptiles, small exotic mammals, amphibians, invertebrates like spiders, and leaf bugs, and feeders. There will also be cages, enclosures, and care items for sale.
The Saratoga Reptile Expo isn't just vendors. There is also an education room where you can get hands-on experience with zoologists and professionals. There will be presentations and guest speakers.
The event will be held on September 11th from 10 am until 4 pm and tickets are available in advance. They are $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6 to 13, and kids 5 and under are free. Because of the Department of Health guidelines, only a limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door. To get more information about the Saratoga Reptile Expo click HERE.
