Across the 518, most cities and towns make it easy to report potholes, and it only takes a few minutes. In Albany, you can call the Department of General Services at (518) 434-2489, report through SeeClickFix, or reach out to Neighborhood Services at 518-434-CITY. Prefer in-person? In Schenectady, call the Bureau of Service - Street Department at (518) 382-5151 for potholes. If you’re dealing with construction damage, call the Department of Engineering at (518) 382-5082.

If you're in Rensselaer County, the Highway Department takes reports by phone at (518) 283-0973 or through an online form. For those in Schodack, call (518) 766-4000 or (518) 766-7590. Halfmoon residents can dial (518) 664-3127.

And if you're driving through Queensbury and hit a bump on a state highway, report it to the New York State DOT at (518) 623-3511.
