Possible Abduction Attempt of 16-Year Old in Lansingburgh

A 16-year old girl has told police that a man approached her this morning and attempted to force her into his car.

It happened at the intersection of 121st and 5th avenue in Lansingburgh. The girl was able to get away and the attacker fled the scene. However, another report of an attempted abduction took place around 6:50am not far from this at 117th and 4th avenue. Officers are currently investigating the incident.

The girl in the attack from 6:50am told police that the attempted abductor is an older white male and that he touched her inappropriately before leaving the scene.
