Pianos Coming To The Streets Of Downtown Albany!

I'm in my glory!  Have you ever been to a city where you can sit down (outside) and tinkle on the keys? We saw it in Denver not long ago, and it was the coolest thing ever.  It's coming this summer to Downtown Albany!! 

According to an article in the Albany Business Review, the Downtown Improvement District in the city will be hosting a "Play Me, I'm Yours" public art exhibit with 10 pianos placed around the area.  It starts on June 13th and runs to July 27th.

I guess it was a British artist who came up with this idea, and it's part of an international tour.  I'm wondering if I saw this recently.  We went to a wedding in Denver,Colorado and took a drive into the downtown district the next day. I saw a gentleman wailing away  and grabbed this shot.

Well, I guess I know where I'm going this summer.  I'll let you all know - we can have a huge WGNA sing-a-long on the sidewalk!
