There are plenty of restaurants to choose from if you are driving up and down Wolf Road in Colonie, but one of the popular chain restaurants may be closing.
The Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub sits at 107 Wolf Road and this property has just been sold for $2.05 million.
Jeff Weiss who is the CEO of Glennpeter Jewelers also owns a few buildings that house restaurants that are on Wolf Road. He has the complex at 109 and 111 Wolf Road that he bought and developed in 2016 and 2015 according to the Albany Business Review.
Leased restaurants that are on this property are Toro Cantina, Kuma Ani, MOU, CoreLife Eatery, and Jersey Mike's.
The Ninety Nine's lease will end later this year and Mr. Weiss said he may continue with the Ninety Nine but said that he will keep options open to a possible new tenant.
There are plenty of restaurants on the Wolf Road strip including ones that recently opened. New restaurants include Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. This one opened in August.
Mr. Weise thinks there is room for one more great restaurant in that area. He said that Wolf Road is a great place for restaurants.
Wolf Road has many restaurant choices including four steakhouses, and many fast food options like Chipotle, Jersey Mike's, McDonald's, and Taco Bell. There is also a Red Lobster and Olive Garden.
