NY State Fair Adds Rock Hall of Famer and Band With Albany Connection!
The New York State Fair continues to add to the line up of entertainment for 2022! So far a variety of artists have been announced including Foreigner, TLC, Country musician Riley Green and Herman's Hermits, to name a few.
There are 32 artists currently scheduled to perform this year at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse. The latest additions range from a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer to an up and coming band featuring a powerhouse singer from Albany!
The Rock band Plush is scheduled to perform at the New York State Fair on Wednesday August 24th, which is opening day! Plush is an all-female rock band fronted by Latham, NY native, and 2018 Shaker High School graduate, Moriah Formica.
Opening day now has a full lineup of entertainment with former Barenaked Ladies singer Steven Page on the Chevy Court Stage at 1pm followed by Country artist Jimmie Allen at 6pm. On the Chevy Park Stage it's Plush at 2pm followed by Rock band Chevelle at 8pm.
On Monday August 29th Max Weinberg's Jukebox will perform at the New York State Fair starting at 6pm. Weinberg is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer best known as Bruce Springsteen's drummer in the E Street Band.
Max Weinberg's Jukebox promises a unique night of music and not set is ever the same. The reason for this is because the audience picks the songs that they will perform.
All concerts in the Chevrolet Music Series are free with Fair admission. Let's see who else is coming to the fair and all around the Capital Region.
