Keith Raniere, the psychotic mastermind behind the NXIVM sex-cult who made his headquarters on New Karner Road in Albany, will die in jail.  A Brooklyn federal judge hammered the lunatic leader with 120 years.

The sentencing, handed down by Judge Nicholas Garaufis ensured that Raniere, 60, will remain in jail for the rest of his life according to the New York Post.  The Post article reports that Judge Garaufis dropped the hammer on Raniere after he was found guilty on seven felony charges.

The unhinged headman had faced as little as 15 years and according to the New York Post, the judge commented on Raniere's refusal to accept any responsibility for his actions saying that “Mr. Raniere remains unmoved. … [He] has therefore failed to demonstrate remorse.’’

The charges against Raniere piled up as many of his brave accusers testified against him, looking their evil ringleader dead in the eyes.  One by one, his victims corroborated stories of starvation, rape, branding, brainwashing and mental and physical abuse that had gone on for years.  Much of which happened right here in the Capital Region.

During the trial, Judge Garaufis heard damning testimony from accusers who detailed their life while held captive by it's demented ruler, Keith Raniere. The New York Post is reporting that he was found guilty of sex trafficking, racketeering, child pornography and forced labor.  One of Raniere's captive sex slaves told the judge that he took her virginity at age 15.

According to the report, "Raniere stood stoically as he was slapped with the life sentence."
