Usually, when we hear of a huge park opening it's in California or Florida but Nickelodeon is opening up what will be the largest indoor theme park in the Western Hemisphere and it's only a couple of hours away!

The Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey will be opening this Friday, October 25th, according to CBS 6.

The Nickelodeon Universe will offer 35 different rides, roller coasters, and more, featuring some of your favorite Nick characters like Spongebob Squarepants and Dora the Explorer. One of the newer rides is called Shellraiser and offers a 122-foot drop! Of course, in Nickelodeon fashion, they will also offer "miles of slime."

The only other Nickelodeon park of its kind is in the Mall of America in Minnesota, this park is only about 2.5 hours away! General tickets are $39.99 but you can get an all-access pass for $10 more. Kids under 2 years old get in for free.

Also coming to American Dream is The Rink that is an NHL-sized rink offering ice skating, hockey tournaments, and more. The end of November, the DreamWorks Water Park will open with over 40 water slides and a 1.5 acre wave poll. Then, the beginning of December, Big SNOW, North America's only indoor real-snow park will open.
