New York Yankees Cheer & Chug On New York Rangers

When you are in first place in the American League East and you just took another series from the team everyone predicted would win the AL, you can kick back a little on your off day. That is exactly what New York Yankees sluggers Anthony Rizzo, Aaron Judge and DJ LeMahieu did on Thursday night.

In the process of cheering on on the hometown team in the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the three Pinstripes All Stars were donning New York Rangers jerseys and slugging or chugging a few of their own.

Loudly cheered on by the raucous Madison Square Garden crowd in the second period, the trio of Bronx Bombers delivered and chugged down three of their favorite beers for all of the Ranger fans to enjoy.

The big sluggers, Rizzo and Judge held their empty glasses high, while a bit smaller DJ LeMahieu slumped to avoid showing that he didn't empty his glass. No matter what, the Blue-shirts crowd went bananas with excitement for the trifecta of support from the Yankees.

There is not a doubt the DJ struggled a bit to keep up with the larger portion of the Yankees line-up, Judge and Rizzo, that he hangs out with. But managed to get it together for one more big smile and a cheer from the Rangers crowd. New York beat Pittsburgh 5-2 to tie the seven game series at 1-1. The two teams travel to Pittsburgh for Game 3 on Saturday at 7pm. Great to see New Yorkers supporting New Yorkers!
