A lot of New Yorkers will head out west to view beautiful Niagara Falls. This summer if you cross the border into Canada, you will be in for a treat. A new ride will give you a birds-eye view above the horseshoe falls.

A brand-new adventure is coming to Niagara Falls, and it is one you will want to catch. Niagara Takes Flight opens August 29, 2025, and it promises a one-of-a-kind experience in Ontario, Canada.

This flying theatre is set inside the newly renovated Table Rock Centre, right next to Horseshoe Falls. It replaces the long-running Niagara’s Fury ride with a major upgrade.

The ride features a fifty-five-foot domed screen, dynamic seating, and special effects that make you feel like you are soaring. Wind, mist, and natural scents surround you as you glide through the air.

You will “fly” across nearly thirty-six miles of stunning scenery. The footage includes bird’s eye views of the falls, lush parkland, and sweeping seasonal landscapes.

One moment, you might be drifting above Queen Victoria Park on a summer day. Next, you are dipping into a snowy scene filled with twinkling holiday lights.

Before the flight begins, guests can explore exhibits that share Niagara’s deep history. Learn about how the falls were formed, the region’s Indigenous roots, and its place in global tourism.

I have visited many times in different seasons, which is truly breathtaking.
