Albany International Airport is undergoing a one-hundred-million-dollar renovation. Although it has been inconvenient for some travelers, it hasn't stopped the airport from adding more discount flights.

According to the Albany Business Review, discount airline Breeze Airways begins flights to North Carolina today (Thursday, June 5th). The first flight is scheduled to take off around noon today and will follow a regular route to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina.

The budget airline also offers direct flights from Albany International Airport to Charleston, South Carolina, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. There is also a plan to add non-stop service to Fort Myers, Florida.

There are limited flights, however. Breeze Airways flights from Albany to Charleston, South Carolina, take off on Fridays and Mondays.
