There is a new coffee game in town, well two cities in the Capital Region. It is sure to get your engine running. Two local marketing and PR firm executives are now in the coffee business.

Who Started this New Coffee Venture?

On April Fools Day of last year, Joe Bonilla announced that he was starting a coffee company. It was thought to be a joke because he is in the PR business. But it wasn't. He and his business partner, Rich Fazio decided to bring their new coffee to the forefront.

The Coffee Company's Name & Where You Can Purchase it

The name of the company is Motor Oil Coffee and fittingly it has been available since July at car shows. You can also purchase it at festivals, farmers' markets, and on Amazon. Motor Oil has its own website too that you can buy it from. One-pound bags are available but will change to twelve-ounce bags to save a lot on shipping according to the Times Union. There are a variety of coffees available with a nod to the car industry. There is Zero Emission Organic Decaf, Daystarter Breakfast Blend, Motor Oil Standard Organic Harvest Blend, and High Octane Premier Organic Guatemalan.

Where Will Motor Oil's Coffee Shops Be?

Motor Oil Coffee is opening up two locations. One will be located inside the 518 Craft tasing room which is located at 200 Broadway in Troy. They will have hot and cold coffee selections and baked goods. The target opening date will be May 16th.

The second location will be in the warehouse district in Albany but they are not revealing that location until later in May. This will be Motor Oil's flagship store and will serve beer, wine, cider, baked goods, and of course coffee.

The new Clifton Park Druthers Brewing Company is on track to open sometime this summer. The computer renderings of this massive brewhouse are stunning.
